Zamani Gallery is a family owned and operated business based in Sterling, Virginia. For over 70 years, we have been collecting a wide variety of hand-made rugs, jewelry, textiles, and artifacts from Central Asia. All of our products are hand-made and authentic, and each has it's own cultural value. At Zamani, our aim is to preserve the Central Asian culture and to keep those artistic talents alive.
Over the course of 70 years and 3 generations of business, we have built a strong relationship with the makers and weavers of our products, most of whom work in rural and traditional settings. Having experienced those conditions first-hand, it has made us even more appreciative of their work, and that is where we see their real value. Our products are alive with the stories of the region and the people who make them.
Zamani Gallery has had the privilege of working with many businesses and art institutions across the country. We continue to work with The National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, The Metropolitan Museum of New York, The Fine Arts Museum of Houston, The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, The Textile Museum in Washington, DC and other art galleries around the country. We are also honored in working closely with non-profit organizations such as PeaceXPeace and Children's Chance, in addition to various charities in our area who strive to make this world a better place. Our new showroom in Georgetown, Washington D.C., allows us to expand our operations and serve a diverse set of clientele.
Zamani is committed to helping underprivileged, working families around the world, especially the talented artisans who contribute so much to our line of work. They include rug weavers, jewelry makers, and other highly talented artists. We are privileged and proud to work with such artists, and will continue to support their unique work as they are the foundation of our business.
While it is our desire to help promote and preserve our cultural heritage, we will continue to be that source of knowledge and education from that part of the world, with it's rich history and culture. Thank you and we look forward to working with you.
